Streetlab Artfair
May 1, 2009
On Friday 24th April, the Zaishu Amsterdam Project stole the show with a front window installation – designed in a joint effort by Dolly Rogers and Weasel for Streetlab – a Dutch platform for young fashion designers and street artists.
A big thanks to everyone who came along and those who enjoyed the pizza buffet with us at the end of the night.
Graffiti stencil artist FAKE was also showing work and couldn’t keep his hands off a chair and took a blank Zaishu to spray. We can’t wait to see that one. Stay posted!
A special thanks also to Geert Van Kerckhove for his help setting up the exhibition, and to Jeroen Smeets from Reload Magazine who curated the exhibition and the fantastic crew at Streetlab for their support. Mwaaaah… We love you!
We’ve uploaded some pics of the evening to our flickr site. Check them out! If you’re in Amsterdam, the chairs will be on display and for sale at Streetlab until the end of May.
